1056 000 058
1056 000 063
1056 000 067
1056 000 068
1056 000 071
1056 000 073
Is that correct?
Do you have any pictures or part numbers for the different plugs up to 09/1992 and after?
I would limit the search to 071, 073 and 075. I had all of them in my car so know you can swap them around. The others should work in theory. But I haven't swapped them myself and think they would be much too old anyway. I understand they replaced some bushes with needle roller bearings on later models so I would go with the 075 if possible. I have some photos of the pre 9/92 socket but they were intended to show the wiring and are not very clear. The pre 09/92 plug is very easy to spot. It pushes straight into the socket and then you screw the cap on to hold it in place. The later plug is more like a bayonet fitting. I will take some more photos and post them.
FWIW, the pre 9/92 socket has only 14 pins. IIRC, the post 9/92 has 16 but only uses 14 of them. I cannot give you a good reason for this and I have never tried to rewire one. But if I could only get hold of an 082, I would be tempted to use its loom and rewire it. But that is me :-)
