Drivers side heated mirror

Hi guys
My drivers side heated mirror doesn´t work..
It´s not the mirror itself that has burned out because if I swap the mirrors either one mounted on the pass. side heats up perfectly..
So it´s internal wiring somewhere but I can´t find anything about it in the electrical troubleshooting manual.

Any ideas?

Page 5116.0.01 shows the heating element. It also shows a circuit breaker which may be overheat protection. If so, it is probably a one-time only part. I must get round to doing my passenger side so will be interested to find out how you go on with this :-)

yours is 1995, so a bit different.
But I would check the wiring inside the door and also the wire loom from A-pillar to door.


And I also found retrofit info from 09/1992 on, there are a lot of pics too
