Getting voltage OK.

True. Communication with non BMW OE kit can be difficult.
Communication good with borrowed DME.
We just need the code to put in.
Need to get the code from the EWS.
The mechanic told me he might need to retrieve the code one digit at a time.
He is not equiped to pull it off the chip.
Mark D'Sylva (EAT chip)? Wonder if that will work with a Siemens.
