    Alex here, yes I am a newbie.
    I just bought my first beema, a 535i, 1992 model, beautiful car to drive, it has a plate under the passenger side sunvisor that reads "75 years Germany, 25 years Aust, 1992 535i, car no. 80.
    Can anyone shead some light on this vehicle, I cant find anything about it

    Yeah done that but doesn't tell me anything about anniversary models

    In Australia there were 525 and 535 models released as anniversary editions. I'm not sure what options were added to these cars over the standard ones, but there are quite a few around. If you could post the last 7 digits of you VIN we might be able to let you know what you've got above the base models.

    might be the foundation year BMW in Germany and the foundation year BMW Australia. And yours is a Australia national version. Can you post a picture of that plate? I have never seen one.

    The last of the M30s, that'd be worth keeping that one. Some wizards say the e34 was best all round with the M30 and S38 engines. Defn the easiest to look after. That one, with the sports seats and 10-spk hifi etc, would be the most highly spec'd model. Just missing intensive cleaning and perhaps heated seats as in Oz these are seldom required.

    So yea... post some pics!!! We'd love to see it!
