Dual mass flywheel problem
Hi all I hope some one could help me out I have a proble with my e34 1996 518i when I release the clutch pedal I hear a chattering sound and my clutch is starting to feel a little lazy, is this the dual mass flywheel or release bearing and how long would this last before a complete failure.

I would start with your clutch slave cylinder.. Either change it or at the least flush and bleed it with new fluid.
What mileage is on the car and when was the last time you had the clutch serviced?
