I have 18" E39 M5 replicas on my E34 running 235/40/18 all round. When I was first looking at wheels the guy at the shop put on a wheel from E38 with 265/?/18 and it did fit - just. Is you car lowered? How are your shocks? Can you try before you buy?

What are the offsets? They should fit with hubcentric rings, but you may get some rubbing with that tire size. A fender rolling might be in order.

Here's a thread I read the other day with some good info from Rob Levinson

Sorry to take so long to get back, had root canal this morning.
Which M5 wheels are you looking at the E34 or the E39?. With the E39 wheels you will need the hubcentric ring to make them fit. Probably best to take note of Kennan's reply.

Rear tire 245/45/18 will not work. That's 5% over recommended spec. You need to be within -3% to +2% of recommended size.
