Members in Quebec - Will be selling my 91 525i 5-Speed for parts
I took my 525i out of winter storage - sitting under a pile of snow - and although it ran perfectly when parked, it's now sputtering and backfiring out of the intake. It runs and idles, but not very well.
I don't have time to take care of the issue, and I was planning on selling it anyway. It's Calypso red with tan interior, 430,000 km's, Bilstein Sports, Eibach lowering springs, three sets of wheels - stock steelies, stock mags and a set of Borbet five-spoke mags, all 15-inch - and two sets of tires, all season and winter. The winter tires are in pretty good shape, and so are two of the all-seasons.
Car is located in Sherbrooke - I'd be happy to let it all go for $500. I know there are not many of these 5-speed cars around in Quebec, so I thought I would offer it here first before it hits lespac or kijiji. The car is currently plated and registered, so no inspections needed.
I will be sad to see it go. Many pics available.

Forgot to mention - the car also has an EAT chip, and a stock stereo with a professional AUX line-in in the front. And a cell phone.

I am interested, email me some pics but I will probably buy it, I finished parting out a 535i 5 speed so that would be a cool project and a great car for mocking up my turbo setup before putting it on the wagon.
