    Default Hazard light switch removal

The lightbulb in the switch seems to be out as the switch doesn't flash in the car when the hazard lights are on. What is the best way to remove the switch without breaking it? Hopefully not removal of the entire console.

    Thanks.

Use a plastic pry bar of some sort and pry up gently one edge of the switch at a time. Do not try to get it out at one shot on one side! Small pulls each side all around will do it. If it has never been out it may take some doing. Be aware that the wire underneath it to the connector is quite short as well.
