Default Questions On Bilstein B6 Shocks

Well, it's time...143k on "Big Red"...time to rebuild the front suspension on my 740i Sport and while in there, figured I'd change the shocks as well.

Has anyone used the Bilstein B6? Looks like a decent performace shock at a price not too painful on the pocketbook. I'm sure the ride will be firm, but that's OK. Just want good driveability in general with nice performace in the twisties.

Looking for anyone's opinions on this shock, or even others that may work as well.

    Thanks,
    2000 740i Sport

Bilstein B6 is Sport... I believe... I got it and still using it... 8 years old now. It is stiff in beginning but will soften up with more usage and then it is super fine. On E34. Bilstein HD and Bilstein Sport is same valving but with shorter shaft for lowering springs.
