Default dawa/ews input code 42 on my Peake-??

Got a dawa/ews input code 42 on my 95 525i made 1/95 with my Peake. Not sure what it means or more importantly what caused it.

Car starts and seems to runs fine with no start or locking issues.

However, this is after I blew a idle control hose off. Can ran very rough at idle and would die when reved. Also has a code 29 air mas sensor. Indy fixed air leak and car runs fine.

Searches indicate this is associaied with the alarm system and/or bad battery. No starting issues that I know of. Temperature has been down to zero in the past couple of days.

    Opinions??
    Thanks,

maybe a too low battery causing this, electronics are very sensible to low batteries, even if the engine still starts. Low battery can cause malfunctions on many electronic parts, not only the engine management but also IHKA, seat memory etc.

I also suspect a low battery. Mine is almost 4 years old. May have it checked out. I consider code 42 an eary warning. I will see it it reappears as I have cleared the codes.

No doubt it's had a pain in the ignition diodes for years too!

Actually it has been forgotten and has not reappeared. Currently my car is clear of errors per my Peake.
