Mixing gas

How it is going to get properly mixed? It would appear that if you did a 50/50 mix that there would be some settling in the tank.

Gas prices have dropped here in Black Mountain (about 3.5 hours west of Chapel Hill) over the past week, the Exxon I pass every morning that was 2.19 for 93 is now asking 2.11 (they're usually 2 to 3 cents higher/gallon then the surrounding stations).
