    Default 92 525i overheating problem

hi all, i'm new to this forum.i'm facing overheating problem with my 92 525i when i stuck in heavy traffic or keep idle for some time.I noticed that when i turn on the ac, it overheats, without ac it runs fine. then i notice that the fan which is mounted on the condensor (auxilery fan) is not moving even when i turn on the ac. is it fan itselt culprit or any thingelse..
    thanks for your advice please

the resister is probably dead on the aux fan, it should come on low with the ac, and when the pressures get high enough it will switch to high. the resister is the little finger sized thing to the lower drivers side of the fan, you can replace just the resister you need to splice it in, i solder them in but you can use good yellow size crimp connectors
