If you dont find what you want there at least it will tell you which wires NOT to cut into
Looks a proper job though John. You tried it out yet?
Brilliant thanks! I'm going to have a look now!!

Yeah I had it on briefly last night and it was pretty cool! The engine at idle (cold) was reading 22in/hg which is pretty good from what I've read Can you remember what the 535 was reading when we measured it at yours that time?! (I remember it was pretty good too!)... Going to take it out today (whilst hooked up the 9v battery!) and see how it reads - I've got it hooked up between the FPR and the intake manifold... I read somewhere that's not the best place - What you think?

    How was the holiday anyway?!

This might be worth a look:

22inHG is pretty good. IIRC mine was 18 and the 535 certainly wasnt any lower than that. It changes above sea level but bearing in mind where you live I dont think you have to factor that in

Haha funny you mention that actually - I did some research and apparently the highest place in Liverpool is 230ft above sea level so should be fairly reasonable The gauge is getting changed as it wasn't quite calibrated correctly.

230ft above sea level? Must be the top of the Radio City tower You havent had the back of the gauge to 'calibrate' it have you?

Radio City? Does Kev Seed still work the morning shift there?

That guy reminds me of my childhood, used to work at Rock FM instead!

The orange wire may be used to dim the display to the same level as the dash lights when they are on.

You may not be seeing the needle settle at 0 as you are using a 9v battery to power it, rather than the 12v that the car supplies?
