Default rubber or brass caliper guides.. Which is best?

Trying to decide whether I need to replace the caliper pin guides with the oem rubber or upgrade to the brass guides? Has anyone had the brass guides in for a while? If so how did they work out?

I have the brass ones and they work great. probably 65,000 miles on them. I'm getting ready to do the brakes soon and they will get a good looking over from close range.

i have the brass ones also for the rear only, since the front are a fixed caliper. I think they are good, but there is no covering for the grease (as the pin is exposed to the environment) so I clean and regrease them every oil change.
