glovebox flashlight fix

I didn't know there was a flashlight. In the glovebox you say?????

Upper left corner of the glove box is the flashlight charging port. It sits in that when not in use and keeps it charged.

My car and many others didn't have the flashlight in the glovebox. But the port is there and had a small piece of black foam in it to keep the 12v terminals covered to prevent accidental shorts.

Pick up the white flashlight and you're set to go.

Forgot to add that the flashlight port is rectangular. Which is why there's an adapter that BMW makes to fit the flashlight port to convert it to a cig lighter port.

Yes I have seen that port. Ha so thats where the flashlight goes. And yes it still have the foam in the port. Cool I have to get a flashlight. Probably a 100 bucks at the local bimmer dealer

I seem to recall it only costing $20-25 new from a dealer. Probably could get a better deal if you ordered it from Tischer on your next parts order.
