got the following info from tornacious which owns an E32 750 12/1992:

Use the TRE-342 for better OEM fitment
Nick at TrePerformance emailed me the following:

"For the dimensions of the pumps they are all the same, 1.5" wide without the sleeve, and 4.75" from tip to tip, and about 4" from the bottom to the top of the case. The TRE-342 is the one which would work best when reusing the original filter."
