    today i serviced my car every thing when smooth and i even reset the service lights i did what you all said and it worked and i also saved money

    well if u wanna know i drained the oil changed the plugs and filters reset service lights and sparyed the engine clean, using engine cleaner.but getting the oil filter out was a bet tricky.

    did i miss anything

    Hmm Beware the cleaner. The black pastic connectors all over BMW engines of this ilk are not waterprooof and many acidic and phosphate based cleaners will corode the contacts inside and within a week or a year cause incorrect sensor readings and poor driving/failure. Get some contact cleaner and come di-electric grease/oil so they can each be cleaned and oiled. I say this from experience, many others have had this trouble. Only later after 2000 did they perfect auto connectors with o-ring seals, etc.

    If I'm being paranoid, do it anyway, it could fix some already tired connections anyhow.
