    Default 4th gear won't engage

    I'm having some issues with my 535I , for some reason it will not switch into 4th gear, I did a search and one of possible causes that came up was the Sport switch thing I tried that and It the switch is working fine, even doing the Manual gear thing 4th gear still won't engage, but for some reason if I do the manual thing then as I'm driving I turn off the Manual thing then 4th gear engages any ideas anyone??

    Manual mode only uses 1-3, 4th isn't used in M
