well as some of u may have seen (on bf.c), i went to denver and picked up a 535i to replace the 525i on the 30th of june.

what i forgot to post up is what happened to me on the 28th.

i was driving home from omaha, (about 50 min drive down hwy/i80). as i near the end of the highway and am about to hop onto the interstate. my car gong's at me. as E34 owners, i'm sure you all know how hard my heart started beating and how high i jumped at that sound. praying its just a tail light out, i glanced down. what do i see?



at this point i'm just like "uh.....no way....."

so i put the car in neutral, turn the car off completely. wait about 5 seconds, and start it back up. yep. still says its -535 degrees out.

wondering if this is really happening or if its just a creepy twilight zone thing, i hit the temp button on the OBC to confirm its not just my instrument cluster messing with my head.

and yep.....


after thinking about it on the drive home, and glancing over to see if there would be any changes (and seeing none)...i decided that with all the talk of the trip to get the 535i, my 525i was starting to get upset and decided to express its unhappiness with me. thus the negative 535.

The next morning it read normal temperature. and has ever since...
