I found a 94 530it without an engine having a decent body not far from where I live. This seems to be a perfect candidate for my wrecked 540/6 to transplant the drive train. Problem is it has a build date of 3/93, pre EWS. Why it is registered as a 94 (according to the owner) I don't know but it is beside the point. My 540/6 is EWS-I (build date 7/94). What kind of trouble will I be getting if I buy it? Should I wait for a EWS-I wagon shell?
