So I was driving along minding my own business and put the clutch in. Pop. A couple parts fell out from under the dash. Upon further analysis and contortionism I discovered the center eyebolt in the clutch pedal spring assembly broke in two places. I had an extra from an e30 parts car. Now I have to figure out how much of my car I have to disassemble to replace it. I think you get to leave everything together on the rear half of the car. Do you have to loosen the clutch hydraulic cylinder? This is about 9 on a 10 point scale of PITA jobs unless there's a good process I have yet to undertake. Anyone been there done that before?
