On the inside of door frame of the drivers side door is there recommended tire inflation's. I have always just used that. It will cover several different tire sizes and inflation's.

Air is like 80% nitrogen... but oxygen is the variable that expands when heated up... so hot tire always has more PSI... same for super cold winter and PSI falls.

Pure Nitrogen is more stable and used by all racing cars. They can't have tire pressure changing on them while racing.

I never used it... didn't want to pay for it.

that why you buy your tires at costco!

especially when they have 70 bucks off 4 tires!

    free rotation
    free flat repair
prorated tread wear if you wear your tires below the warranty
    and so much more

only crappy part is that the wait might be a long time cause they are always busy =/

Yeah, I know all about them. Last time I went there, they told me they are not allowed to install anything other than OEM size tires... so that was the last time I went there because immediately I convinced my uncle to go 50/50 on tire mounting machine for his garage shop and I do my own tires since then.

Tire will lose pressure no matter when so I don't want to drive over there and have them top it out... They are probably a stickler too for OEM specified tire pressure too and I don't want to run them low either. I'd just start up my little compressor and done in 5 minutes.

As for tire wear and warranty... I never bother for that. In my experience and my driving habit... tires last longer than usable lifetime...years and I'd rather try other tires when the years comes up.

I go right between the 2 options with 1-2 lbs more in front due to the extra weight of the V8 the lower setting the front tires wear on the outside edges of the front tires. you can go with the minimal settings. More pressure on the rear is for more controll in cornering. 32/32 square is wrong for these cars.
