Iīm retrofitting a tempomat, please tell me if I understand/read this right!
My carīs a manual and if I do have the 6 pol SA connector in my E-box, I donīt need to install the clutch switch?

I think that you will find that as long as your car doesn't have eml then you will need to install the clutch switch. A pretty simple test once you have the other components installed is to test the cruise control. If it doesn't work then put a clutch switch in or put a temporary jumper in to bypass it to confirm that that is the problem.
Thats what I was thinking too, just wanted to make sure!
You see, I DO have the 6 pin SA and the pic above is from the original bmw installation instructions thats why I asked.. As we all know german can be hard to dechiffer at times, the grammar is tough!
