Default Why is it that the e46 coilpacks are cheaper than e34 ones

A quick look around ebay shows the e46 packs with the same DME connector selling for less than the e34 ones, even the "new" ones. Why is this? Other than the mounting hole incompatibility, could these work on an m50? thanks.

if you can get past the mounting hole thing they will work, they seem to crap out more often as they are a more compact design and i guess that was too much, i can't keep used ones at the yard as they fly out as soon as i get another car in
all america wants is cold beer warm cat and a place to take a poop with a door on it
