    Default Installing Push Button To start engine on E34

    hello, i am wanting to fit a button start on my e34 can anybody tell me a good way to do it?

    They used to fit a button on the solenoid so you could push it to start the car - provided you had the ignition on. So just run same thickness cable as from battery between the solenoid terminals with a 'push to make' switch in line. The ignition side is something else and I'm not about to give handy hints on how to hot wire our cars on an open forum

    Do you not get a wiring diagram/hint with the starter button? It's an easy install but I agree with Whiskychaser here. If you need more help then you will get it but best use the PM system methinks! I like my car to stay where I park it pmsl!

    Why ???

    I did it on my Honda Civic when the ignition switch burned out, as an emergency fix.

    Default Remote start

    I dont even have a remote fob (cries in beer) but some of you chaps might be interested in this as it seems to use the your normal fob to start:

    Just don't forget to leave the car in neutral if manual
