I'd definitley give the fluid change a try... Start with the cheapest things first!![]()
I have been encountering a bit of resistance shifting, mainly first gear. I have trouble getting the shifter in and out of first gear some times, it doesn't grind, it just has a lot of resistance. If i rev the engine it seems to go in no problem. Also every time i pull into my garage, down the driveway its really hard to pull out of first gear, comes out no prob if i turn of the engine first. Any ideas, should i change tranny fluid, synchros bad, what do you think? thanks for the help

+1 on the fluid change. I have Redline D4 ATF in mine, but I have heard good things about Royal Purple. Give one of the premium fluids a shot.
Clutch may not be disengaging fully. Tried pumping the pedal?
It really does feel like the clutch is not disengaging fully. Ill try pumping the pedal next time. I did recently have the clutch replaced, anyone know what could cause that?

I'm with Whisky, clutch not disengaging properly. Air in the hydraulic clutch actuation would cause this. Does the car creep along with the clutch pedal down?
"The gas pedal wouldn't go to the floor if it weren't meant to be there"
