    Default PCV Plate

    Hello,
I have been preparing to replace my intake gasket for one of these days, but I had a few questions about the PCV plate (and I wanted to post as much as I can so maybe I can change my status finally to "big time poster" ). First of all what the hell is it and what does it do? And second does anyone have a picture of it?

it's on the back of the intake and they rupture. Also called a cyclone valve i searched with no results. replace the with the gasket, the intake gaskets and dont be a moron like me and forget the valley plate and front intake gasket.

manifold off the car and upside down, you are looking directly at the back of the manifold, that whole plate is the pcv plate

    Default If I recall...

....the PCV valve recycles oil vapor that would otherwise foam up in the engine or drip out onto the road.

Inside view. Kinda greasy, and smelly. Don't forget to check the little hoses in the back of it; mine were pretty much decompased.
