14 ounces at $1.23 ????? That little can would be worth like $50 now. Should have invested in R22 instead of Imron...

Default I think it was a typo on Jr's part,, 22 is

still available and fairly reasonably priced... Last summer i bought out the supply of r22 from the local autozones, they decided not to carry it since there was very limited consumer demand for home usage and were closing it out. They got rid of their r12 quite a while back... They sold me their 22 for less than a buck a can and it came in 16 ounce cans. I'm running 22 in my home a/c and will be for a long time. At any rate you can still buy r12 locally for around 25 to 29 a can, the price has actually come down since so many people converted to r134a that there is a surplus of it. R22 is around 9 a pound i think right now and is still used in home and commercial medium temp a/c
