I want to thank *EVERYONE* who chipped and provided information and advice on the stereo upgrade. You guys are the best help an E34 owner could ask for.

I went ahead and purchased a JL Audo 300/4 amplifier, and a set of MB Quart QM 215.61Q components for the front speaker. I also got a set of MB Quart RK 116 (6.5" coax) for the rear fill speakers. I already had purchased an Empeg Rio Card Mk 2a head unit (60GB model) a couple years ago, along with the tuner module.


The touring is at BMS and up on the lift where all 4 EDC shocks are being replaced and the stereo system is being installed. Throw in an inspection 1 and some other misc items and it'll be a week before she's done.

After BMS is done with it, she's off to Classic BMW for some paintless dent work, paint touchup, inside and claybar detailing. Whoo hoo...
