Ross-
The springs and shocks are that colour from the manufacturer. The panhard rod is 'DVS Teal', which is one of the proprietary colours from a Volvo and Euro tuning company in Melbourne, Australia. This was the only colour they had left in the adjustable-type panhard rod, but thats ok with me.
The purple on the sway bars is just a powdercoat colour I chose, as the sway bars (and torque rods- the top links on the diff) are still stock. I just got them powder coated coz I thought it would look better than just having bright springs and new shocks. Maybe a bit ricey, but it does add to the impression that this is no ordinary grocery getter!!
Yaofeng- Yeah, those hatch wiring harnesses are a bitch!! Reminds me of the dreaded trunk harness issue in the E34. I have another harness for the Volvo... just a matter of biting the bullet and fitting it!!
The centre console is ridiculously flimsy, as are the map pockets on the doors!! I've already smashed my map pocket to bits (and the lil lady is doing a bit of a number on hers), and the console is out for repairs as we speak.
Thanks for the heads-up on the fusues... another thing to add to the list!!![]()
Gone but NEVER forgotten. :'(
And then...
