    Default I finally found the old Mobil 1

    synthetic million mile test on the wayback machine.. found one sheet of paper at home with the original htm on it. Wayback pulled up most of it except 2 images. After 2001 i saw various other versions of it in the past.

    It's worth noting that this engine was undoubtedly hand picked and had ideal blueprint specifications before this sort of time investment was made. Also it apparently wasn't subjected to temperature extremes, condensation, thousands of cold starts or other real world conditions.
    Still an impressive testament to the lubricant and the M20.
    I would be curious to know if only one was tested or several and if several the results from the others.

    i was always curious what happened to the car, did they stick it back together with a gasket set and give it to one of the testers or shove it into some type of display
    all america wants is cold beer warm cat and a place to take a poop with a door on it

    They did the next 960,000 miles on the rollers in reverse and sold it as a low mileage creampuff....
