Thrust Arm bushing - video attached for reference.
Hey everyone,
My dad's E34 Touring is just beginning to suffer from the infamous freeway shimmy.
Thrust arms (with 750 bushings) were replaced a couple years ago (correctly installed with car on ground); control arms were replaced last month (installed correctly). Everything is of the Lemforder brand.
I jacked up the car to further inspect. Of all the steering system's ball joints, the passenger side tie rod is the only one with the slightest bit of play; both tie rods and center drag link will be replaced accordingly.
Concerning the thrust arm: Visibly, the thrust arms' bushings looked intact with no rips or tears, but I used a prybar to check if the thrust arm bushing had any flex, and it did, just like the guy displays in the video below (jump to around the 3:20 mark)

So even if my thrust arm bushing has no tears, but flexes like in the video, is it considered done?
