I bet everybody except me has seen this on Discovery Megafactories. But I thought it was really interesting. For a start I didnt know all Z4s and X5s are built there. Or that only the engines come from Germany. The attention to detail was fantastic. Made you think if you had the money, you'd want to go to the factory and pick it up yourself too. Must admit I was puzzled to see the Q.A. guy checking welds with a hammer and chisel. And surprised later on to see them spraying pvc round the bulkhead to stop the water getting in. But then I remembered the guy with the chisel.....Silly me

Yes, all X5s, X6s, and all Z3s and Z4s up to the present. New Z4 production will move to Europe and X3 production will move to Spartanburg from Steyr, Austria.Originally Posted by Paul in NZ
