Does anyone know where I can get the connector for the heater valve? I have a 1989 535i. Part number would be great

This doesn't look OEM at all, seems like someone replaced it.
The OEM one looks like the one on the right side of the rad.

    Bruno,

I think the OP might be trying to source the original connector here.

    Kilbokjoe,

    Look here: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...43&hg=61&fg=15

You probably still have the proper connector on the radiator temperature sensor, so if Bruno is correct, you should be able to look at it and find a matching piece in the diagram above. The sensor is located on the passenger side of the radiator. Remove the shield behind the headlight to get to the sensor. Be real careful pulling it off as they get super brittle with age. HTH
