Yes, yes and yes... Radiator, water pump and thermostat plus hoses... change then all. AutohausAZ.com has the Nissen radiator for $173. Waterpump $57 for the Laso or cheaper for Graf.
My radiator is showing signs of failure (1989 535i, manual). The joint at the upper radiator hose is leaking at a pretty steady rate. The hose clamp is tight.
Question for tech experts. Who makes a decent replacement and where to buy at the best price? Finally, while I have everything apart, should I replace the water pump while I'm at it? Have approx 165,000 on the car. To my knowledge the original pump is on the car.
Thanks for your input.

+1 to Tiger, took the words and source right out of my mouth. Also, be sure to flush the coolant at least every two years to maintain peak efficiency.

as mentioned ALL are maintenance items along with ALL hoses and belts. Replaced everything just after I bought my car and never had any probs... not sure how many years maybe 6? 8? and almost 100K miles
