    The impact wrench seems like a good idea, I think that the vibrations just might loosen the nut.. I´ve got access to one @ work.

    If you by lefthand thread mean counterclockwise unscrewing, then yes it is a.f.a.i.k.!

    CD43,Style 21s,K&N Insert,White blinkers,LED 3rd brakelight,HIDs,front Monroe sportsshocks/Weitec 35 springs,540 Calipers, Zimmermann Discs and Textar pads.

    Left hand tread = turning 'left' or counterclockwise to tighten
    Right hand thread = you guessed it

    The most common left hand thread to encounter is the fan clutch.

    The wheel nut is right hand thread and the impact wrench is a good idea, should do the trick.

    weird honestly. i never had trouble taking off my wheel. sometimes it did seem stuck, but with a long lever it was always easy to pop it out without doing and damage....

    next time don't overtighten it...

    Impact wrench did the job!

    I also had little bit of trouble trying to get the nut off. Lucky I saw this post. I just changed my steering wheel and the impact wrench worked like a charm!
