Kiwis & Aussies- Help on sheepskins, pls.

Looking for current experience/source for sheepskin front seat covers. I prefer short nap (<1/2")from my 2002 days with natural shaped short napped skins held in place by elastic straps. Fitted are somewhat better, better but I still remember and prefer the short napped. NZ/AUS guys, what can you do for me?

Info for access to suppliers of skins also appreciated. I could/would consider making my own/marketing very short nap covers.

I'm surprised this post hasnt been graced with the courtesy of any replies. It puts me in mind of the scene in Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves. As they stand on the beach on the south coast of England, Kevin Kostner says to Morgan Freeman ' we will be at my father's house by nightfall'.

There were some for sale on eBay just recently.

My experience with ANY seat cover is they tend to be abrasive and mark the seat.

I'm sure if you really want them, someone here could organise it.

There's a sheepskin store right here in Albuquerque:

My wife bought a fitted front set for her e36 and a friend of mine up the street bought a set for his e34. They're very well made.

Found 1/2" covers at Rocky Mountain Sheepskin Co. See pn 2542. Suspect this description (sale $69) same general design as BMA pn ASCY5G ($139) that we ran on 2002 and now on '85 535.

Ordered, and will report on fit etc.
