Default OT : And an E53 makes 4 - it all started with an E34

Just picked up my "new" '05 3.0 diesel X5 Sport. The old ML270CDI reached its use by date at 216,000 km (135,000 miles).

Wow ! What performance, what torque, what handling.

150 kw, 480 Nm, handles like a roller skate.

You get pushed into the back of your seat - in a 3 litre diesel - unbelievable.

    255 / 50 / 19 fronts & 285 / 45 / 19 rears.

    What a blast !

Tried to attach pictures but it won't accept them..... ?

    Sorry Bo,
Don't need to see another SUV.
Here's the thing, start a trend of NOT having the fog lights on a night!

But again, an X5 is fitting for the country vet :-)

The new one (mine is 3 years old) is 160 kW, 500 Nm and the twin turbo is 200 kW & 565 Nm.
Aussie specs might differ to what you have in NZ.
All I can say is that it is amazing to drive - love it !

Has anyone else had a problem with attachments ? They are there on the preview but don't make it to the real post.

What foglights officer ? You mean they were on ?

I just wish cops would enforce the law and book all the Subaru and Commodore drivers that think they are a fashion accessory.

BTW, Greg, drive one if you haven't yet - you might be surprised......... Mate of mine got out of it last night saying he wished his Commodore SS-V had as good suspension & handling. Not to mention brakes.

Just tried to attach photos again - they are there in the preview but gone when I save to post.

Is this a new programme ?
