    Default "Clunk" Noise at 5-10km/hr - Tranny?

    89 535i Auto Transmission

    I hear a "clunk" noise when the tranny is shifting between lower gears at about 5-10km/hr.

    No other noise at any other speed.

    Any ideas?

    slowing down? accelerating? Check mounts guibo driveshaft bushing and U-joints, rear half shafts etc...

    I always get a weird grinding noise when in Reverse going from 0 to maybe 5mph or until i accelerate.
