Seat recline

Hey guys, iwhen i pull the recline handle on my seat the back rest just falls backwards and i actually have to hold it and bring it back to my desired posture before letting go of the handle. Any idea about what it could be? Done a search...nothing

Pretty simple , it is the gas pressurized spring. it is a cheap part. replace it.

Guys, where can you buy these from? Au stealers say its a discontinued part (proly can't afford to order thru them anyhow as mortgage rates are too high for me to afford a second mortgage anyhow)...

Also, BMA said no way... who does these? I need three pairs! Maybe we can get a group buy happening... LOL.

Or remove the shock, get the data from it and visit a shop which is specialized on shocks, they probably have a similar one which fits.

Heh, thanks Erich this is true. Have done the latter so far only, had no luck finding a strut place- it's been 3 years and I've not found one... And it is damned annoying living with floppy seats!

However, there is a bright side- It is not all that bad when you meet a new babe and the first thing she does when she gets in your car is lie herself down flat beside you ;D
