Small bimmer

Been looking for a Bimmer to turn into an Electric. Saw this one today. Anyone have any idea what year and model this is?

its' a 3 series convertible, either a 318 or a 325, probably an 87-90.

how difficult is the electrical conversion?

Just started looking into it. Cost is about $5000 to $9000. I have only seen one 530 Bimmer converted and I don't know how many miles it gets or what it cost. All I know is that it is in the Chicago area. I will look again and see what I can find.

i know a guy in Montreal who converted a Renault. Electricity is extremely inexpensive in Quebec, so it's an interesting option. The trouble is, battery technology is not that good, and still very heavy.

I always wanted to stick an S&S 130ci V-twin in one of these but I bet this would make a good electric candidate...
