Default Time to move on and sale both E34s.

As some poeple know I am in the process of building a dedicated E36 325is race car.
Now, I am thinking buying a E38 740i or E39 528i/540i for evryday driving summer, winter without all the mod that I have on the 535i.
Time to downsize the number of cars to 2 instead of 3...

I might have to remove all the mods (a big part of them) from the 535i like:
    - MAF
    - Sway bars
    - 4 piston callipers with rotors

So the 525i is for sale for sure for 5000 Cdn
And the 535i might end up for sale for 12000 Cdn with the mods or 9 500 Cdn without.

Default I was wondering when you were going to get rid of the 535!

Good luck! Thanks for all your help Bruno. I wouldn't have had the courage to even start all of this if it wasn't for your website and the messageboards. It is always a big help just to have a stepping stone, and your website provided that early on in my ownership. It has since been a great reference point. Good luck selling your E34s.

    Default Bummer!

I'm really bummed. Bruno has been the de facto leader of the E34s with his website and sage advice. Will you keep the website running? Is anyone else qualified enough to take it over? Good Luck with your race car!!!

    Default Yes Good Luck Bruno....

A lot of people off loading their E-34's.
Since you have been so quiet lately, I have been looking for you in some cameo shots of American Thunder figuring you switched to motorcyles. Unlike Scott, in spite of your masterful website and it is tremendous, I would have had the courage to do everything to my car anyway. Keep in mind, I still have some of your stuff. It goes on ebay if you don't pick it up by the weekend
I have always felt a modded 3 series is the only way to go for the track.
    Cheers,
    George

Say it ain't so, Joe! Say it ain't so!

Oh well, at least your staying with BMWs- I don't know if I'd pick an e38 or e39 over my 535i, but to each his own. Personally, I'm saving up for a GenII RX7, but there aren't any plans to ditch the 5 anytime soon

    Good luck!!!

Enjoy the race car, I think an E36 would be a great time on the track.

That's what I hear- I'm just worried about maintenance on the rotary, what with all the seal horror stories and all.

I am not dead... I am still working on a lot of E34s. But there is way more E36 owners willing to spend money to modigy their cars then E34s...

I really enjoyed my E34, and maybe I should test drive a E39 before selling my 535i...
