    Default How many miles?

I know BMWs last forever, but I'm wondering if 145K miles for a '94 540 E34 is too much. Anyone with a similar car with these many miles? What problem can I expect.

I have a 94 530....195k on it and it still runs strong. Only major problems have been shocks, driveshaft, thrust arms, radiator and power steering hoses. I drive 3k miles per month to work in bumper to bumper traffic, change the oil every 2 months and still average about 23 mpg. Looking forward to a few more good years with her.

    93 525i 198k

thrust arms, radiator and 2 water pumps. Everything else i would say was normal wear and tear.
