    Default yet another religious experience!

just came back from test driving an 3.6L e34 M5. OMG, was it ever good! i'm thinking i could use another E34, however, my wife will kill me.....what the hell, you only live once......that'll be 3 E34's....the other one has just cleared customs and sitting in a shipping container at the rail yard over the long weekend.....stay tuned ...

    tell me more...
i am getting a little tired of my 535...but i just cant decide on a replacement.for me the e34 has just the right mix of elements...
it can be a quiet relatively limo like ride...
it can be a sporty drive
the interior presence for me is just right
its absolutely fantastic on the open road
even a 540 e 39 six speed doesnt have the same mix....

You sir are absolutely correct... every time I hammer down, its like I stepped on a bomb. The power difference is immeasurable, but the E34 I had definitely had better steering than my E39. I always thought they lightened it up just a scoche just because they figured one hand would always be on the shifter.

I 2nd that! Although... when you put the pedal to the medal in a e39 540i...sheer carnage!

there are two areas where the e39 540 are head and shoulders above the e34 535...one its is overall a much more refined car, lots quieter and much less NVH,and the power is there...always,and lots of it...but when i climbed back into my 535 i was afraid i would be very very disapointed with it,but I soon found out i wasnt!
