    Default Need help finding tip!

I'm trying to tackle the missing pixel issue on my dash cluster today. I found a pretty decent writeup/pictorial on the M5 board and down the pages there's a picture of this soldering tip (a flatwire filament soldering tip).

Problem is, I've been to radio shack, Fry's, and a place here in town that's supposedly an "Electronic Parts outlet" ... and none of them had it. Most of the clueless sales people just scratched their heads at the sight of the image. Anyone know where I can find one of these?

search the web. There are many on-line electronic parts stores. Of course, I cannot think of the names of any of them at the moment.

Here is one www.mcminone.com. I bought bulbs for my switches from them. Also try a model car/airplane hobby shop. They may have something.
