    Re; the M30 vs M50 stoush I say;

    One must always be extra wary of the tactics employed by the more powerful of two enemies, especially when it has an inferiority complex...

    Poor ol' M30s...

    When I get my M50 running right I'll be able to know which is better. I have to say I like both right now...

    America never saw the pipsqueak..thankfully, or it would have been pummeled into the ground by the M30 with an inferiority complex.

    Sounds fair. The M30 is nearly as old as me and I'm still going strong But Mr BMW knows a thing or two about engines and if the 30 was that good he would have kept it. Vorsprung durch technik? I rather think so

    the m30 is old old old engine terms...and it was old when it was phased out in 1992...it is still a honey to drive tho...
