    Default How Can I Tell.....................................

If my front end suspension is shot or I have warped rotors?

I am planning on changing the suspension but if I can fix the extreme shake with new rotors and pads...I'm all for it!

You get the shake only when you apply brakes? If so, your rotors are warped. If you get the shake at 50-65 m.p.h. without braking, check suspension bushings or wheels.

The worn bushings will also become apparent on on long sweeping corners with bumps if you are "pushing' the car a little. The wheels will wobble like .

I run EBC rotors and pads, but I have heard great things about ATE rotors.
    As to your wobble,
Rick L hit the nail on the head. Think about upgrading to m5 bushings.

yea thats what im panning...im thinking of doing the brakes, pads, rear dogbone, front stab myself

and having the thrust arms, rear struts and rear subframe bushings done by a shop as i neither have the time nor experience to do them because im taking 18 units this quarter and its kicking my ass already! hahah

I think it is cheaper to get the Whole arm with the bushing already in place. That is what I did.

i hear you on the cheaper part but i am not sure that the bushings pressed in are the 750i or the M5

    how can i tell?

I hear the 750 are liquid filled while the M5 are solid...true?
