The ones on ebay, and in every other picture I've seen, are half the width of yours. Those look quite comfortable.

No, not a UK thing the 4 previous e34's ive owned including the one i have now have the 'standard' armrests like in the USA. I have never seen these armrests on any bme before????
They look cool though and i wouldnt mine a set like that on my car
