Well... not exactly gunshots, but I was getting pretty close to it.
The central exhaust bolts are a complete hoot when you saw through them, nearly got my face taken off they were exploding that well!

Did I ever, hooked on the sound now - 540 v8 sounds awe inspiring without an exhaust on and just the cats, super smooth till you rev it when it just sounds like an F1 car.
New exhaust is on, cats are re-aligned (one was pushed down causing the whole exhaust to start coming apart at the back end) new mounts and hey presto, I spent two days in pain from having to saw away at those bolts in that position
Gotta saw the cat bolts next, as they're all rusted solid and there's a leak - will get a dremel in on the action though that time.

Use an electric saw. I got this big ugly cheap thing from Wollies, its a great 'get out of a mess' tool, it comes with a metal blade as well, ideal for this kind of stuff, makes you feel like a real man
