    Default cruise control not working

    today on my way back home my cruise control stopped working any suggestions on what to look at first?

    Brake pedal switch out of alignment or defective, speed sensor on differential not giving clean signal, that could be 2 of them.
    Probably you will get more ideas from others.

    A nice quick check is to pull up on the clutch pedal (hook your foot under the pedal and pull it towards you) and see if that fixes it. As Shogun said there is a switch for the brake and clutch (if you have one) that can get misaligned. You can do this with the brake too, obviously.

    how do i get to the brake swicht and how do i get it aligned

    My cruise used to pop out frequently untill i replaced the Neutral Park safety switch..
    Apparently it wasnt making perfect contacts and instead of showing E D, it just showed the E in the center of the gauges..

    just a thought..

    I fixed my cruise control by swapping my instrument cluster, wierd eh?
